Bring Natural Elements Indoors

When you go on a nature walk or hike together, bring home your small treasures. Utilize a shadow box or stone tray to display your findings (like shells, rocks or feathers). Keep this display limited to your recent findings, rehome them back into nature when you go back out together and replace them with your new findings. 

Create a custom coffee table book filled with your family’s artwork, writing, and photos. Don’t forget to include you and your partners work as well! You can use Canva templates or Artifact Uprising to design and print these books as both soft or hardcovers. You can also try painting or plaster painting with your kids. Select kid-friendly plasters and paints within your color palette and a huge canvas to paint together one afternoon. These projects are a great way to bond with your family but also provide a sense of accomplishment and pride.

Bring the beauty of nature indoors by creating beautiful floral arrangements with your children. Press flowers and leaves to create stunning wall art or make bouquets together. You can also plant flowers or herbs with your kids, teaching them about the life cycle of plants and the importance of nurturing and caring for living things. By doing these activities you'll create lasting memories with your family and foster a sense of creativity, connection, and wonder.
