lIFESTYLE & DESIGN
MARCH '25
It is official, cherry blossoms are blooming and spring is officially upon us. Recovering from the last few months indoors will require a real refresh. I personally love to switch my routine every once in a while and try some new activities when the seasons change. Below you will find some of our favorite findings, local visits and activities all with spring at their focus.
Less is more- you are probably tired of hearing it, but now is the time to reset and declutter your home. You can check out our other blog here that gives some tips on how to do such. As for spring cleaning, I would recommend making a by room checklist and checking off items as you clean them. While the weather here in the PNW is still just beginning to warm up, now is the perfect time to clean before the busy spring and summertime are upon us.
As for decor, we love changing out a few pieces, like linens, pillow cases, bouquets and bringing in a few extra seasonal touches. A spring palette for linens (pastels, whites or neutrals) is our favorite way to brighten a space. I also love to treat and perfume any fabrics in the home that I usually wouldn’t tend to change frequently. For example de-pilling the couch, washing and steaming the shower curtain, ironing any bed skirts, and steaming furniture slip covers.
This season is as much about the inside as it is outside, now is the perfect time to plant flowers and vegetable seeds outside. Some of my favorites are Tulips, Daffodils, Hyacinths, Snapdragons and Geraniums. I also love trying to create my own bouquets inside using flowers from around the garden or the market, playing around with shallow bowls and obscure vases to create new fun bouquets.

Now is the perfect time to explore new recipes that highlight seasonal fruits and vegetables like strawberries, asparagus, citrus and peas. Embracing these fresh flavors not only elevates your dishes but also supports local farmers and encourages sustainable eating. We are currently excited about playing with citrus and florals, and keeping things light.
